playing piano on wood`s footprint

I just made some cupcakes. Yup yup yuuup!

And I`ll share with you. ^^

but first - the recipe (thank god for the cake cookbook):
Things, you`ll need (for 12 darlings):
120 g or 1 1/2 cup flour
60 g or 4 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. butter (at room temperature) + 3 tbsp. olive oil
130 g or 1 1/3 sugar
160 ml or about 2/3 cups of fresh milk
3 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla sugar
2 ripe peaches
3 tsp. of poppy seeds

Step 1. Mix the flour, cornstarch, baking powder and salt.
Step 2. Beat butter and about 80 g of sugar together (I hate this part. I can never achieve that perfect fluffiness everybody is talking about). Add olive oil and mix everything. Add vanilla sugar and mix once again.
Step 3. Slowly, while pouring milk in the flour mix, add the butter+sugar thing-y and mix well. mixmixmix!!!
Step 4. Beat the egg whites until the peaks are stiff and firm. Then slowly add sugar (about 1 tbsp. at a time. At least, this works for me) and beat the peaks together with it until everything`s glossy. Keep on doing this, until you`ve used all of the remaining 50 g of sugar.
Step 5. Slowly (yes, again. I know that it can get pretty frustrating when you HAVE to work at a speed of a snail, but it`s totally worth it in the end) add the egg whites (I`d say that if you add them all to the batter in 3 takes, it should be ok. Or four.)to the batter and mix gently.
Step 6. Peel the peaches and cut them in cubes. Add them to the batter. Then take poppy seeds and add them too. Mix everything.
Step 7. Well, pour the awesome batter in the muffin cups (fill about 2/3 of the cup) and bake at 175 degrees (Celsium) or 350 degrees (Fahrenheit) for about 20 - 25 mins. Let them cool for a bit and then enjoy. ^^

and I really want to see U2 live now.
